The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is today expected to release the 2012 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results.
According to UNEB spokesperson, Hamis Kaheru, the 2012 S.6 results will be released on Tuesday at 9 am at Statistics House in Kampala and the release ceremony is expected to be presided over by the Minister of Education and Sports Hon. Jessica Alupo.
This will be the first set of examinations to be released since the examining body made adjustments in the way they are set the exams.
For instance in the discipline of Economics, students last year answered questions A-E, different from the previous A-J from the previous years. The examination body explained last year that brevity would be continued.
Students were also to choose four numbers out of five instead of three out of eight numbers in the previous years.
After the release, parents can get to know the performance of their children by SMS. Go to phone menu under messages, type UACE, student's index number and send the message to 6600 across all networks.
